Hong Kong

On landing in Hong Kong, I cleared immigration and collected my luggage. I then caught the AirPort Express to Hong Kong station and transferred to the MRT. I bought an Octopus card to make travel a little easier and after a walk, a train and another walk, I made it to my hotel.

Fortunately I was able to get in my room super early and have a shower before heading out… into the torrential rain ☔️. I went in the first coffee shop I saw and planned things out. I then caught a tram t mid level escalators and went up the hill a bit but I was tired and it was wet.

I went for a sit down in central market and then spent a few hours walking around the IFc mall and covered walkways. In the end I decided the rain wasn’t stopping and caught a tram back to the hotel.

I stopped at 7:11 on the way and bought lunch.

Back in the room I ate lunch and fell asleep. In the late afternoon, I tried going for another walk but was too tired so bought dinner in the 7/11 and watched the city lights come on as it went dark.Weiterlesen
