We set off after sunrise for a drive up Haleakalā. We drove up the volcano for over an hour and reached over 10,000 feet to look out across the island.
We called at the visitor centre on the way down and stopped at various lookouts.
We called at a grove of native bush and spent some time watching some native birds.
We then continued our drive down the volcano and called at the supermarket for a few bits before returning to the accommodation.Read more
