Gates of Haast and Thunder Creek Falls

The first stop was just beside the road and I had to search for a path down to the river as the main track was closed. I found a very small path beside the bridge and was climbing down there to the river. It was definitely worth it to do it! The river is really wild here and so nice to look at.

Only a few kilometers further on the road was already the next waterfall, the Thunder Creek Falls. This one is a really big one! Also here it was only a short walk from the carpark to the waterfall.Leer más
