Blue Pools and Kalbarri

Around 2 pm we arrived at the Blue Pools so we had our lunch break here on a table in the shade.

After that, we got some good tips from a local where it's best to snorkel in the blue pools.
So we picked up our stuff, got changed and walked down the beach for like 200m to come to the „good“ blue pools.

The tip was well worth it!
We saw so many fishes, all different colors and sizes! So cool!
The water was also surprisingly warm so even I could stay in for quite some time! Pictures come in an extra footprint!

After our snorkeling trip, we were laying down for a short time at the beach to dry up a little bit.
After that, we went into Kalbarri to look for a cap for Kara what took us some time and them we checked in to the campground.

Well, what shall I say, we again found a really nice spot with a lot of pink cockatoo's and kangaroos around us all evening. And we found out that we go quite a bit sunburned today 😬 Not from laying on the beach, must be from our sightseeing tour as we have some clear marks from our t-shirts. 🙈😅
After building up our tents and a nice shower we walked into town because we really want to get some fish and chips but unfortunately the fish and chips shop in town was closed today. 😕
So we walked back and cooked instead, download a lot of pictures from our cameras and shared them with each other.
All in all took some time so we went to bed pretty late today, around 10.20 pm.Läs mer
