    Turquoise Bay

    March 1, 2020 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 34 °C

Our next stop was at Turquoise Bay. We arrived here from 12 o'clock and went straight away for a snorkeling trip. Here the reef is a little bit further out and the current is stronger but still okay to handle. We saw a lot of fishes, many very big fishes but this time we were further away from them as the water is deeper here.
So I must say, I really liked it here, but I liked Oyster Stacks more as you are up close with the fishes and corals.
We were out for around one hour or so?
After that, we went to the beach for a short sunbath to dry. We were not laying there for long, because the sun was so strong and it felt like we are melting and burning away 😬😅
So we searched for a picnic area for our lunch break and drove to Drift Point for it, it's just on the other side of the sandpit.
