Day 1 - Mornington to Port Campbell

Started off after a quick breakfast - left Mount Martha about 0830 and arrived Sorrento 0915 - we were booked on the 1000 ferry but we managed to get onto the 0930. Drove down the Great Ocean Road as far as Lorne but as the traffic was very heavy we headed inland. The inland route to Port Campbell was quite quick and we arrived there just after 1430. After a quick lunch and shop we checked into our motel which was just on the edge off town. After a quick relax we drove out West of the town and explored some of the amazing coastal features. Stopped off in Peterborough for an evening meal around 1830 before setting off back to Port Campbell.Read more
