    Peniche breakwater

    Peniche

    September 24, 2017 in Portugal ⋅ 🌙 18 °C

Short trip today ready for long haul to Lisbon tomorrow can't wait😉. Not a bad trip today the fog stayed in the distance and we could see the coast for the entire trip, well the cliff tops if not the actual beach. Today we saw dolphins again, trying not to get blasé about it, no it's always exciting. Also saw a Sun fish only a small one but only a couple of metres from the boat amazing looking things. Peniche isn't beautiful but the town is on a peninsula and has 16th century walls and a moat separating it from mainland and an old citadel style fort as well as impressive swells breaking over the breakwater.Read more
