Avignon

Nice easy day yesterday only 15km and we have arrived in Avignon, we plan to stay for a few days to visit some of the nearby historic sites as there are good transport connections here. Had our first meal out in two months, last night delicious. Doing some local sightseeing today and maybe some laundry, the excitement of it all. The river is very quiet saw one commercial barge yesterday and we were the first visitors to the Aramon pontoon and the only transit boat here in Avignon.
