Villeneuve les Avignon

Not wanting to be accused of taking things easy after the Pont we cycled across the Rhône to Villeneuve to follow one the other self guided routes in the local tourist brochure. First stop the King Philippe Bell Tower, then through the old town which is apparently very affluent before a look at the La Chartreuse monastery.
