More progress now

We decided we need to make better mileage so set off earlier than usual today. Our first stop was Trévoux to visit the weekly market, next was Villefranche-sur-Saône to see some of the historical buildings there before heading to Mortmerle-sur-Saône for the night. More random rain showers helped to keep the temperature a bit lower today Thank goodness. From Mortmerle to Macon marina, stopping for a coffee at Restaurant du Pont on the way up, a marina for a change so we can charge everything up and do some washing. Macon also has beautiful old buildings and has seen a lot of renovation work since 2007 making the town very attractive.Читать далее
