Jordan Pond

Next on the Acadia National Park tour was a visit to Jordan Pond. This place was packed, and we got lucky that we found a parking spot realtively quickly.

The hike was a 3.5 mile loop around a scenic pond. Very easy walk with little to no topography change. We stopped along the way to take photos and enjoy the views.

I couldn’t resist the opportunity to go rock hopping. I made it to the big boulder without falling into water!

At the end of the hike, we stopped at the Jordan Pond House where we enjoyed their famous popovers and jam while overlooking the lake. They were delicious!Read more
