Wildlife safari

Today, we took the soft option. We took the bus and went hunting for wildlife. We saw some guanako, reahs, 2 foxes and got up close and personal with an armadillo. We saw a reah chasing a fox and 2 guanakos fighting. We then had an easy 8km hike looking for pumas but we only saw their tracks. Caitlin was bird watching and describing very common birds for identification (lapwings, torrent ducks and condors). James had very squelchy shoes and was regretting not getting the gortex. We also went to the cascades and got sprayed. Back at eco camp, James and Caitlin went hunting for wood peckers. They knocked on their door, but none were home 😞.
