Sparkly towers

Today we had a biiig hike, the base towers walk 24km. We started at eco camp with our guide and learnt some more Chilean slang. Went along the windy pass and were hunting for woodpeckers (i saw a wing). With many stops for snacks and use of the bushrooms and facilitrees we made it to the top (only a few twinges) to the amazing 3 towers and frozen lake. Luke got a dirty knee and Emma found a sparkly ring ✨️ 💍 ✨️. We had some champagne 🍾 and took lots of photos at the top. The way down was a little easier and we heard all the eco camp gossip (devil wears prada and below deck for reference). We made it home with just enough fuel in the tank.
