Getting lost in Venice

Hostels were fully booked, so we had to leave Ljubljana. And where else to go than Venice? This is a labyrinth if gorgeous old buildings along narrow canals or cobblestone streets and stairways touching the water. A two minute walk and one is all lost. But that certainly is an experience! And the streets dosn't get any less beautifull when you have no idea what the next corner brings! Chances are that it's an old aesthetic bridge allowing you to cross the water just as a gondole passes by.
We finished the day with a great Italian dinner and a break on a warm quiet night at one of those stairways reaching the water.Weiterlesen
