Route 66 - New York Style

We made it to New York, dropped off the hire car and got a “lyft” to the hotel. What a full day of driving for Roger… New York traffic is mental - even my nerves are shot.

Out for a walk to find a place for dinner - 9th Ave between West 55th & 56th we found “Route 66 Bar & Grill”. How appropriate for the travels we’ve had so far.

Pasta with salad, burger & fries, tiramisu, Jacks & Lattes… we are full as goggey eggs - 🤭

Time to stroll back to the Hotel. We’re booked on the hop on hop off bus Thursday & Friday. More importantly we’re booked at the 9/11 memorial tomorrow.Read more
