After a missed connecting flight from Munich, I snuck into our hotel room at 12:30am, trying not to disturb my "stranger" roommate (who I'll be rooming with for the next 8 nights). Turns out she is an Aussie girl from Wollongong and grew up in Orange, Jo Vanderstok. What are the chances?
In the morning I met everyone at breakfast and we started our tour of the European Christmas markets in this beautiful city. Walked over 19,000 steps today. Saw Christmas markets, churches, the Houses of Parliament (day and night), a very moving memorial of shoes by the Danube, ruin bars and the Jewish Quarter. Finished the evening with a beautiful meal at a cool restaurant with the members of our Intrepid tour group; 7 Aussies and 5 Americans and a terrific host from Croatia - Maare.Читать далее
