    Ride Day #1 Part I - Victoria to Swartz Bay ferry

    Dad kindly took us on the ferry and drove us to our starting point in Victoria. We - or more accurately, Andy - then took too much time taking pictures at the BC Legislature and we were then pressed to make the 1pm ferry. Judah realized we needed to hustle, and set a strong pace. But, as we neared the ferry, we caught our first puncture and had to work together to get the tube changed out in record time. It felt like we were in a Formula One pit stop crew. Ours were the last wheels that rolled onto the ferry just before 1pm!Read more
