Ride Day #15 - Caronport to Regina

Take the Rockies any day. We were worried about the heat today, and did have a persistent afternoon temperature of 35C showing up on the bike computer. But that was manageable. The 20-33km headwind was a different story! We'd take the Rockies again over that any day! It didn't relent from 10am-5pm. We also had to briefly take shelter as a dark thunder and lightning storm passed over the highway. We made it! But had planned for an easier day and got one of our most extreme yet. Wonderfully, we closed the day with a wonderful visit with an Eritrean family related to friends we have in Oxford.
