    Flight: Halifax to Vancouver

    We had originally planned to get a Monday morning ferry off Newfoundland, so we could have more time driving around Nova Scotia, and see more of Halifax especially, before our Tuesday flight back to Vancouver. But our ferry was cancelled and they initially rescheduled us to sail Wednesday! We ran into some Newfoundlanders who were in a similar predicament, but who really emphasised we had to fight with the ferry company. So fight we did! And six or seven interactions with various levels of leadership, and dad's persistence, magically opened up the Monday evening overnight sailing to us, allowing us to easily catch our Tuesday flight. We were so grateful! But sad to miss time in Halifax.Read more
