Golden Circle

Today we did the the famous Golden Circle which is a very touristic travel route through thingvellir nationalpark and you see the popular Geysir and another waterfall Gulfoss. Seeing the fountain of the little active brother of the Geysir "strokkur" was really interesting. Something we have not seen before on our trip and I would definitely recommend watching the eruption which happens every 5-10min. The next halt was Gulfoss, a really impressive waterfall but due to the touristic athmosphere around there less amazing than other waterfalls in iceland. Overall the Golden Circle was quite okay but compared to other less touristic parts of iceland it was less exciting.Læs mere
