Another day, another Shinkansen

Today we headed off reasonably early for Aomori via a Hayabusa Shinkansen which moves along at a fair clip of 320 km per hour. If you have never experienced the efficiency of Japanese high speed rail it is a joy to behold. The Shinkansen arrived at 0909hr and departed promptly at 0912hr the scheduled time. We arrived just short of two hours later in Aomori at the scheduled time of 1100hr having travelled 362 km.Leggi altro
