Eighty Mile Beach to Mt Robinson

It was another very hot day yesterday with a heavy sea fog that came in about 10 am and lifted at about 2 pm. ( John went fishing again, in the fog!)

We left 80 Mile at 5.45 am. this morning.
Not quite as hot today, 38°....but fine in the car.
We stopped for brekkie and coffee at Pardoo and then on to Pt Hedland for fuel.
We were expecting roadworks but didn't see any. There were lots and lots of trucks though, most travelling to Hedland.
Lunch at Albert Toglanini lookout and then on to Mt Robinson for our overnighter. Still bl....hot.
Hopefully, it will be cooler tomorrow as we head to Newman and then Meekatharra or thereabouts.Read more
