• Mount Robinson to Cue.

    September 5, 2024 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 10 °C

We left Mt Robinson around 7 a.m. this morning, and I certainly took heed of the warning of dingoes in the area. Thank goodness we didn't see any. It's quite spectacular scenery around these parts.
I spoke too soon about not seeing any roadworks !!!!
This morning, I can't tell you how many new overtaking lanes they were making, plus new shoulders on the sides of the road. These are essential for all the huge trucks carrying their loads of iron ore to Pt Hedland. The works were nearly finished, so we weren't held up for too long. Stopped at Newman for fuel, then Meekatharra, before arriving in Cue around 4.30pm.
We're staying overnight here but can't believe the minimum temp is going to be 7°.
I'm not sure where we'll go tomorrow. Maybe cut across to see more wildflowers in Mullewa or Mingenew.
Sorry, I thought I took more photos!
