• Space Center Housten

    April 6 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 64 °F

After an early morning with some great coffee and tea from the hotel lobby.
We took public transport for about 45 min and walked another 50 min to arrive exactly at 10 am for the opening of the Space Center Houston.
We booked into an astronaut training facility tour and the rocket garden tour, including the full-fledged Saturn III rocket.
Since we already Air and Space Museum experienced from Florida and Kansas, that was another impressive day.
We saw the Houston Controll Center and the training facility. What was mind opening.
Of course, there are always spectacular movies involved. But the "Walk on the the Moon" movie, narrated by Tom Hanks, was a real treat. Another unique thing we did today was touch each other and a moon rich at the same time.
We went to all the exhibitions and displays.
    It's really worth the time.
I loved the modified Boing 747 display with a model of a fake but realistic space shuttle mounted.
For about $ 28, it was an awesome day.
