Emerald - Barcaldine

We're heading to Barcaldine for a few nights to catch up with Linda and Peachy. They are at emerald at the moment. We passed the Fairbairn dam on our way to Emerald. We arrived at the Lloyd-Jones Weir campground and I was glad of a few days rest in one place. I love being on the road but day after day can be tiring. The weir itself was under construction but was set on the side of a river. The amenities consisted of long drops and fees were by donation. As usual some left without paying.
