Today I don’t have heaps of photos, nor do I have lots to tell. I did around 27km. It’s 15° hotter than the average expected temperature for this time of year in this area of Spain, so we are walking in hot, hot sun. The accumulation of walking and heat has left us all a bit exhausted tonight.
I have a lovely little routine each afternoon where I shower, hand wash my clothes, and magic up a drying setup. I usually meet some others from the group for a drink or something to eat so we don’t fall asleep too early.
I’ve realised I’m carrying a lot of things across Spain that I may not possibly use because of the heat. I was prepared more for cold weather, but I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry. Maybe later in the walk things might change.
My suitcase is like Tetris every night, trying to shove things back in so they fit, and in reality I’m washing and wearing the same outfit every day.
I’m really tired tonight and can’t even think of a story to tell, but I’ll be back tomorrow with something to make you smile.

Oh I just remembered a nice tale for the day - I was looking for a baguette to make up lunch with some more stolen goods from the breakfast buffet this morning and two lovely Spanish men selling sandwiches out of the back of a van which looked like it was also used as a tradies van kindly gave me a big baguette and wouldn’t let me pay. I do think it was day old because it was a bit tough but it was still good xxxRead more
