Arriach to Gerlitzen Alpe

15km/1245m ascent/218m descent
An easier day today with plenty of ascent but virtually no descent ......until we arrived at our destination and realised we could take a ski lift then cable car to drop straight down the other side of the mountain to the lake below us and return. It was another exciting and spectacular mini-adventure. The views from here are surreal and my favourite so far. We watched many paragliders jumping off the mountain and gliding down below us. We also met a lovely Italian man and walked and talked with him for a couple of hours.Читать далее
