Drive to Hallett

A couple of hours driving brought me to the designated pick up location (the place name is Booberowie!) to collect Aneeta from the Heysen Trail.
We had some sketchy dirt roads to navigate then we walked up to the infamous 'whistling trig' where we surprisingly found nothing but blue skies and sunshine!
We drove on to Hallett where we enjoyed a coffee and lots of snuggles with 2 beautiful corgis at the roadhouse.
We spent the night at the old train station (available free of charge for Heysen walkers) where we were toasty warm with a fire blazing.Read more
