Southwest Coast Taiwan

Maria drove us down the southwest coast. After a lunch stop, we visited a cocoa farm. We had a very interesting demonstration of cocoa production, expertly interpreted by Rena. Taiwan produces very little cocoa but goes for the quality market. A quick stop off for a paddle in the South China Sea. We stayed the night in Kenting and went out for snacks and entertainment to the night market. There were many delicacies to attract us, including toffee tomatoes and a selection of fried mushrooms. Rob won a key ring on a burst of the balloons with a darts game. Lots of fun and a vibrant atmosphere.Læs mere
