South East Taiwan

An early start past what looked like the setting of 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' and into Kening National Park with botanical and geological interest. (Volcanic and limestone) There were great views of the coast and southern tip of Taiwan. We then headed up the East Coast with sandstone and coral rock formations. Next was Water going Uphill - an incredible optical illusion where the water stream clearly was going against the law of gravity. We travelled further up the coast to the 8 Arch Bridge, representing 8 immortals who crossed the sea. We walked over the many steps of the bridge to the island comprising volcanic lava.
