No quick and easy way to travel from the middle of the Rockies to Boston on the East Coast.

A long trip ...
1.5 hours drive from Jackson to Idaho Falls
3 hours drive from Idaho Falls to Salt Lake City
4 hours flight from Salt Lake City to Charlotte
3 hours layover in Charlotte
2 hours flight from Charlotte to Boston

Five states (Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, North Carolina and Massachusetts) and over 14 hours 'on the road' - not counting our stop over in Idaho Falls.

Or just over 3200km as the crow flies
