Sunny Saturday

Edward slept as well as he does at home, which was somewhat of a relief. Once again he woke us up around 6am, quite a departure from our usual Willerby lie-ins.

Andrew converted the pram into buggy mode and we set off into Seahouses to do some shopping. Seahouses was, to use a phrase from Sarah’s side of the family, ‘jumping’. It seemed the whole world decided to make a trip to the seaside today. Unfortunately we were unable to get all the supplies we needed in town so after lunch we set off to the nearest big supermarket, Sainsbury’s in Alnwick. We accomplished another first by parking in a parent and child bay!

We made our way back to Seahouses, Andrew enjoying the drive in the glorious sunshine, and fought our way through the town back to the caravan. We had a restful afternoon and settled in for the evening. Czytaj więcej
