Lovely day in NYC. temp down to 23c. Mothers Day here us a very big thing! Everyone remotely likely to be a mother seemed to be wished happy Mother’s Day etc! Not at all commercialised🤣. Lovely chats with Lucy & Geoff.
A relaxing 2100 steps, absolutely no sleep last night, running on prednisone and wheezing! Hudson Yards shopping complex,
Marcy’ Dept store, Jewellery District, Euan dragged me into De Beers Jewellery Dept which was a bit disappointing as the assistant said there was a 20% discount and Euan said he was waiting for a 90%! - (my choice in the store was Georgio Armani!)
High line walk, and tonight we went to the The Book of Mormon- a musical show. Packed out and very well done. Throughly enjoyed it. It was so loud I could cough in the loud parts with out being noticed! We had discussed with the couple beside us who were from Manchester UK that A) I didn’t have Covid, only bronchitis and that I might need to make a quick exit, but that wasn’t needed.
Back to the appartments for cheese & crackers + brownie. A hard day in NY.! Packing up for Lisbon tomorrow evening. We can leave our bags here, while we fill-in the day. 🤞Read more
