On a day trip to Homer, we found a water taxi to take us across the bay to Kachemak Bay State Park, which is only accessible by water. We teamed up with two local guys who helped us find our way to the tram which crossed a river. The hike continued to Grewingk Glacier Lake and Halibut Cove where we were picked up by the water taxi.
