More Alaska Photos

We had one night at a cabin in Palmer and checked out the Susitna River on our way to Independence Mine State Park which unfortunately was not open for the season. We had plans to kayak at Eklutna Lake but we arrived early at the rental place and they weren't open yet. Just as well as it was cool and I didn't feel like getting wet. Instead we enjoyed a hike to Thunderbird Falls. The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center had a very nice bear display and the brown bears were particularly active. We enjoyed staying in the Old Cabin where Kevin works and it was easy for Kevin and Jess to stop in for dinner. Czytaj więcej
