Arrived Heathrow 6am and sorted mobile
SIM cards (not cheap if you need data), located the pickup spot for a shuttle to Avis car hire when we leave London and Oyster cards for London travel. Left bags at Acton Town Hotel and took Underground to Westminster station then walked across Bridge St bridge and rode the London Eye which was built to mark London’s millennium celebrations in 2000. The highest point of the observation wheel ride is 443 feet above the Thames. Then across the Hungerford foot bridge and lunch at “The Ship & Shore” pub in Craven Passage in Charing Cross (est 1776). Returned to Acton Town Hotel and changed, then tube to Vauxhall and City Hash run.En savoir plus
