Montserrat Catalonia Spain Mon 25 Sep

Up before 6am and the others, breakfast 7.30am. Left 9 Placa Les Ollie’s in El Born Barcelona around 9.30am and collected the car. We purchased petrol on the way out of Barcelona. Arrived Montserrat which is a multi peaked mountain range in Catalonia around 11am and walked to the Sant Miquel Cami (Cross) view point (Alt 803 metres) and took photos. Then walked slightly beyond to a small chapel Ermitage de Sant Miquel S.XIX (Alt 818 metres). Returned to the monastery area around noon. Purchased some honey from a market stand and left the Montserrat tourist area around 12.30pm. Vehicles were queuing for a significant distance trying to get in to park as people like us left.Læs mere
