Night 1

So I found a nice place to land around 1945. Got camp made just before dark, I was kinda pushing it though. Made 7.2 miles in just under 1.5 hours. The river pushed me about 2 miles an hour without any paddling, my top speed was 7.6 mph. I'll put up some pics of my camp tomorrow.

I saw several deer right beside the water and they just watched me paddle by. Also an otter swam along beside for several minutes. He kept popping up to get a better look at me. I couldn't get a good pic of him thoughEn savoir plus
