    Needed an apple and a biscuits before walking up the next hill towards the car.Bits of "Vindaloo" Roman fortCan you zoom in to see the moon?The start of the walk and we're going up that steep pathFirst part of the Wall.Hadrian's Wall, very well-cut stones.Sheep's poo. There are lots of sheep in Northumberland. Someone gave us a figure of 8 million.

    Hadrians wall to Vindolanda fort

    Left the wall behind us and headed back to the car via Vindolanda Roman remains. More great scenery but getting very tired. Will need to come back another day to have a look around the remains.
    Now sat in the Twice Brewed pub for a well earned meal, burger and fries for me and roast chicken for mum, can’t wait so hungry 😋Read more
