Travel day to Nice

Ah, travel days — never quite as calm as we imagine them, right? Our journey from Paris to Nice was definitely one for the books, and it all started with a chaotic, heart-racing morning that involved a dash through the station and a near miss of our train. Spoiler alert, we made it. Barely. With exactly four minutes to spare. However once seated the stress seemed to melt away and we had a wee laugh at how hectic it was.

6 hours flew by and before we knew it we had arrived in Nice. We checked in to our Airbnb which is seriously so cute! It feels so homely here only a 5 minute walk to the beach and shops around us. We also have a balcony that we are so excited to use! We are already so in love with Nice.

Even though we were tempted to collapse into bed after the travel whirlwind, we decided to head out for a walk and get a feel for the area. We wandered through the streets, admired the buildings, and eventually found ourselves at the beach. It had just fallen dark so we weren’t able to really soak it all in but the town was buzzing and it was just nice to be here.
