Travel day to Pompeii

Sorry for the slight delay with the post for yesterday and sadly it isn’t going to be too exciting, just a couple of sentences to fill in the blanks.

Yesterday was a travel day for us. Our morning started off very sad at 3am as Christie said her goodbyes. She is back off home to Scotland to spend some more time with her Dad before her euro summer is officially over 🥹🥹We have had the best time and Jayde and I wouldn’t have wanted to share our experiences with anyone else, We love you Chris xx

The morning just got sadder and sadder as we then had to pack up and leave. Rome has definitely been my favourite city so far. We have absolutely loved it here and would want to stay longer if time allowed but hopefully one day we will be back! A quick bus ride to the train station then on we hopped to our train to Pompeii.

We arrived in Pompeii only a couple hours later but let me add also a few grey hairs later…. Why was finding a bus the hardest thing in the world! We had a quick 10minute walk to our Airbnb and before we knew it we were cooking some dinner before heading to bed.

A big day exploring Pompeii awaited us so some shut eye was very much needed.Læs mere
