A new country - Croatia here we come!

Yesterday was a huge travel day for us but an exciting one as we were heading to a new Country! Croatia!!

Our day started bright and early at 5.30am but not to the sound of our phone Alarm, instead to the sound of our roommate sleep talking whilst standing up on the top bunk asking us where he could go for a swim all panicky. Jayde said a couple of things to him to try and calm him down and he soon woke and was very embarrassed. Hostels are definitely not for the weak!

No time for breaky this morning so we rushed out the door and made our way to the train station. Our accomodation was only a 5 minute walk to the train so we didn’t have to go far. Not long after arriving our train pulled into the station and on we hopped. 5 hours later we arrived in our favourite place, Rome where we had to get on another train out to the Airport.

We arrived with plenty of time to spare, checked our bags in, went through security before finding a spot near our gate to park up and wait for our boarding call. After a couple of hours it was time to board our flight to Croatia. The flight was perfect, smooth, quick and even our bags behaved and decided to come along for the journey as well! Once we had collected our bags we jumped on a bus to our Airbnb. Our lovely host and given us clear instructions on how to find our apartment so it made for a stress free transfer.

Our Airbnb is perfect! A 5 minute walk to the beach and City Centre. A full kitchen and bathroom with a washing machine, a lounge and seperate bedroom with a King Sized bed. How good!!! We shot to the grocery store and picked up some things for the week before heading back and making a quick dinner - chicken wraps.

Although it was a huge day with a lot of moving parts everything went so smoothly and we are so excited to be here. We can’t wait for the next 5 days ahead!Læs mere
