Paros- Our first Greek Island!

Our day started bright and early at 6:00am with a quick Uber ride to the ferry terminal. Honestly, our driver was an absolute legend, he literally dropped us right at the ferry door, which made the whole experience so easy.

Once on board, we found a comfy spot to settle in for the next four hours. The time actually went by pretty quickly! We got some admin done, I managed to sneak in a quick nap, and before we knew it, we were pulling into Paros at 11:25am.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how incredibly kind and welcoming the Greek people are. Truly the nicest people we’ve met on our travels so far! After checking into our accommodation and dropping our bags, we headed straight into the old town to start exploring.

Wandering through the narrow streets was such a treat, every corner had charming little shops to peek into, and we ended up chatting with a few locals who were just as lovely as we’d hoped. Of course, we couldn’t resist grabbing another gyros for lunch (still delicious, no regrets).

The afternoon called for a little siesta back at the hotel before we set out again for dinner. Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling 100%, so I ducked back to rest while Jayde stayed out to enjoy the evening. He came back raving about the lamb he had, declaring it the best he’s ever eaten, safe to say I’m very jealous!

All in all, it was the perfect introduction to Paros. Tomorrow, we’re ready for a full day of exploring this beautiful island!Läs mer
