Boat day in Milos

You may have picked up on the fact that Jayde and I sure do love a boat trip and what better place to do a boat trip than in beautiful Milos! So that is exactly what we did today!

We started our day at 7.00am got ready and headed downstairs to the buffet breakfast! It’s our first buffet breakfast we have had included with our accomodation and boy have we been missing out. The spread was incredible! Eggs cooked three different ways, meats, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast, puddings, cakes you name it, it was there! Unfortunately we wernt able to make full use of it though as we had breakfast included on our boat tour! Nevertheless we had a few bites then made our way to the port.

We met our group, got checked in and then boarded our sailboat for the day. We had an incredible day sailing around Milo’s, stopping at different bays along the way, swimming, snorkling and just full on relaxing! For breakfast we had some delicious Greek yoghurt with muesli - just when we thought we had finished with the yoghurt and muesli breakfasts lol! And for lunch we were cooked a yummy spread of Greek Salad, paprika chicken and a pesto pasta! The drinks were free flowing and all in all we had such a lovely time! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t playing ball and became quite windy and rough so the decision was made to head back to a small beach and buses would come and collect us to bring us back home.

Although we wernt able to complete the full tour around the island we still had such an awesome day, made some incredible memories, met new friends and saw Milos from an unforgettable angle.

Tired and salty we made our way back to our accomodation, freshened up before heading back out to find a quick and easy dinner. What’s a quick and easy dinner is Greece?? You guessed it another Gyros! Yum!

Tomorrow we are hopping on an ATV to explore Milos by land! There are some amazing sights to see and we can’t wait!Leggi altro
