    No need for too many words.

    As I mentioned in the previous footprint, we were at the Upper Belvedere primarily to see Gustav Klimt’s “The Kiss (Lovers).” And we did. Even though it is not our habit to take photographs of ourselves with art pieces as a background, this time we could not resist doing so.

    In addition to “The Kiss,” there were a number of other Klimt pieces, as well a couple of Monets and at least one Van Gogh. We were unfamiliar with most of the other artists … but that did not detract from our pleasure in seeing what was on exhibit.    Read more
