Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!

The flight to Zurich was uneventful (thankfully) and was surprised at how small the airport was. There was immigration/passport inspection but no customs. We quickly went to the train station for a ride to Basel, Switzerland 🇨🇭 and the hour long trip was relaxing, even viewing a nuclear powerplant and the local industrial economy. The Basel train station was great and we taxied to the hotel. Initially, in hindsight, I should have booked a hotel in Basel. Our Courtyard (yes points) in Prattein was new but in an industrial area. We only slept about an hour each on the flight and took a two hour nap. We walked to the old towne Prattein did enjoy walking around and had some schnitzel for lunch. We returned to the Courtyard and replied to work emails and then proceeded to the Bar for a night cap.Baca selengkapnya
