    The Black Forest

    Our first excursion was a 1.5 hour bus trip through German countryside to a little area in the Black Forest. Visited a chapel constructed in the 1100's and this area is known for Cuckoo Clock Makers. Part of the trip was how to make an authentic Black Forest Cake. Interesting history/story, but not my favorite cake.Read more
