Amsterdam baby!

Viking Mani docked in Amsterdam early this morning and we reluctantly disembarked but looked forward to exploring Amsterdam on our own. All the warnings and jokes about bicyclists was not overstated! Renee and Mark planned a canal cruise which was relaxing and enjoyable and our boat is in the pics. Built in 1909, it hosted Mr. Churchill when he visited the city in 1945 to see war damage and has been converted to electric motors. We visited a 200 year old Catholic church next to the Pulitzer Hotel and those photos are attached or will be on the next post. We visited the oldest church in Amsterdam but it is going through a rehab and not much to show. We caught a section of the red-light district but will likely get the full Monty tomorrow.Lue lisää
