Aarhus by Night

Travelling in winter can be a disadvantage when cloud cover and the Earth's angle work in vicious tandem to create 3:30pm sunsets. This was the time in Aarhus after I had arrived and eaten lunch...

However, a seasoned traveller can turn anything into an advantage. And so began my night-time (late afternoon 😆) tour of Aarhus. I had no plan. I simply followed the neon signs and Christmas lights from block to block and saw where my feet took me.

I saw a rainbow halo, a haunting yet beautiful Christmas tree, a hyggelig street and a rooftop lookout. Spontaneity can be the best plan of all.En savoir plus
