Scooter Trip to the mountains

Drove up to Chopta with two friends after the Pranayama course. Around a 6 hour ride on the scooter with many stops because of all the amazing sights and towns we passed on the way.

It was super cold up here in the mountains but we managed to stay relatively warm by hiking a lot and spending most of the days by the fire or under a blanket.

This morning we went up to the ancient Tungnath temple. Alarms rang at 5:15 and we started walking around 6. Amazing Himalayan views on the way up. We reached the peak of the mountain (3,700 meters) around 10 o’clock. Enjoyed the views and some bananas and peanut butter up there.Read more
